Russian Mouth Blown Glass Oil Lamp
Product DescriptionConnie Sicotte designed this exquisite piece and then contracted glass blowing artisans in Russia to make it for her. She asked that it be made to look like an ancient piece that had been buried in the ground for many centuries. The artisans blow the glass but before firing the piece, they dip it in acid to achieve the appearance of being old and "not quite perfect." The variations in color and texture of this piece are what give each and every one its individual beauty.
